Advertising Policy

Last updated: March 2026.

This page describes how advertising is placed and disclosed on the HUDPRO platform.

1. Placement types

HUDPRO offers two placement types:

  • Local Pros (property detail) — Exclusive, verified advertiser slots shown on property detail pages. One advertiser per county per category (Real Estate Agent, Mortgage, Certified Home Inspector). Shown only when an advertiser has claimed and been verified for that county and category. If no verified advertiser exists, the slot shows "Claim This Spot".
  • Display ad zones — Standard display inventory (e.g. 300×250) may appear in designated areas. These are paid placements and are not endorsed by HUDPRO.

2. Local Pros: county + category + verified

Lookup is always by county, category, and verified status. Only verified advertisers are returned for a given county and category. If one exists, we show the advertiser card; if none exist, we show "Claim This Spot". This policy does not add new ad placements.

3. Disclosure

Ad zones are clearly labeled (e.g. "Advertisement", "Paid ads — not endorsed by HUDPRO"). This Advertising Policy is linked in the site footer, on the advertise flow, and near the property-page ad zone.

4. Advertiser terms

Advertisers are bound by our Advertiser Terms. Eligibility, content, payment, and conduct are governed by those terms and by applicable law (including fair housing and advertising standards).

Renovation Estimator Disclaimer

The HUDPRO Renovation Estimator™ provides rough, ballpark renovation cost estimates based on limited information provided by the user. Estimates are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as actual construction bids, contractor quotes, or repair guarantees.

Property condition can vary widely and hidden issues may exist that cannot be identified without a professional inspection.

HUDPRO strongly recommends that buyers obtain a licensed home inspection and professional contractor evaluations after winning a bid and prior to closing in order to determine the true condition of the property and the full scope of repairs required.

HUDPRO is not responsible for renovation cost differences, contractor pricing, or unforeseen repair conditions.
